NGC 6543 (CATS EYE) PLANETARY NEBULA

This small planetary nebula is small but has a high surface brightness. An exposure of only 4sec was needed. The sharpest frames (best seeing) were selected for averaging. The image was oversampled x2 and unsharp masked to bring out signs of the elliptical fine structure so evident in the classic HST image
