EXTRASOLAR PLANET HD189733b TRANSIT OBSERVATIONS

The announcement of the discovery of transiting Exoplanet HD189733b was made on 6th October 2005. The first chance for an observation was on 14th October (egress only)

Each point is a single measurement on a stack of 100 frames using TeleAuto photometry software. The trend line is a moving average of 3 points. The yellow line is the predicted time of the end of transit from the transitsearch.org ephemeris. The measurement was started in twilight one hour after sunset. The observed depth of transit was less than the published figure of 3%
